What we care for

End Child Hunger Program (ECHP)

The End Child Hunger Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to combat hunger and malnutrition among underprivileged children aged 0-18, ensuring they have access to the essential nutrition needed for healthy growth and development. The program operates on the belief that no child should be deprived of basic nourishment, as food security is critical for physical health, cognitive development, and overall well-being.
According to the United Nations World Food Program, hunger is a devastating reality for millions of children around the world today especially after the Covid-19 Pandemic. About 45 Million young children suffer from severe malnutrition each year across the globe with the highest rates in countries across Africa. ABI Welfare Foundation is known to be on the frontline in the fight against child hunger.

Educational Support Program (ESP)

The Educational Support Program is designed to provide underprivileged children with the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to succeed academically. This initiative focuses on
bridging the gap in access to quality education for children from low-income backgrounds, empowering them to reach their full potential. By addressing barriers such as lack of resources, educational inequality, and learning gaps, the program aims to create a foundation for lifelong learning and personal growth. We give tuition-free scholarships to indigent students, provide school supplies and sponsor vocational trainings

HEALTHCARE PROGRAM

The Healthcare Program provides essential medical services to children aged 0-18 who lack access to quality healthcare. This program offers free medical care, including routine checkups, vaccinations, dental care, and treatment for illnesses. It also promotes health education, teaching children and their families about nutrition, hygiene, and preventive care.
By addressing the healthcare needs of underprivileged children, the program aims to reduce illness, improve overall well-being, and ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow up healthy and strong.

PEER MENTORSHIP PROGRAM (PMP)

By learning from relatable role models, children are empowered to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and develop positive relationships, contributing to their overall growth and success
both academically and socially.
The Peer Mentorship Program connects children with trained peers who provide guidance, support, and encouragement. Through one-on-one relationships, peer mentors help children navigate challenges related to education, personal development, and life skills. This program fosters a sense of belonging, improves self-confidence, and helps children set and achieve
goals.

ART THERAPY PROGRAM (ATP)

The Art Therapy Program is designed to provide emotional and psychological support to children through creative expression. This program uses art as a therapeutic tool to help children cope with trauma, stress, and challenges stemming from poverty and difficult life circumstances. Through guided art activities such as drawing, painting, and sculpture, children are encouraged to express their feelings in a safe, non-verbal way.
The program fosters emotional healing, builds self-esteem, and promotes mental well-being. It also helps develop critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills, offering children a positive outlet for personal growth and empowerment in a nurturing environment.
